Portfolio Managers

Our Portfolio Managers (PMs) head each of our investing teams and some also lead development teams. All started out as investment team members earlier in their times at Penn, and have the knowledge and experience to mentor younger students.


Consumer Retail

Nicole Rong

Nicole is a Senior from New Jersey studying finance and business analytics at Wharton. This past summer, she interned in investment banking at J.P. Morgan. She spent her sophomore summer interning in institutional equity at Morgan Stanley. In her free time, Nicole enjoys trying new restaurants, watching movies, and baking with friends.

Cole Lewis

Cole is a Senior from Elkins Park, Pennsylvania in Wharton studying Finance as part of the Joseph Wharton Scholars program. He spent last summer working at M. Klein and Company as a Summer Analyst in their generalist M&A program. In his free time, he enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and staying up to date as a devoted wrestling fan.

EMILEE GU

Emilee is a junior from Changzhou, China studying PPE in the College of Arts and Sciences. She previously interned at the Penn Office of Investments and M13, a VC firm. In her free time, she enjoys running, solidcore, and exploring new restaurants in Philly.

Saavan Myneni

Saavan is a senior from Austin, Texas studying economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. He previously interned in the restructuring group at Evercore and Sahana Capital. In his free time, he is an avid NBA fan and enjoys biking.


Energy

Amy Zhou

Amy is a senior from San Jose, CA concentrating in Finance and Business Analytics with a minor in Music. Previously, she interned at Qatalyst Partners, UBS TMT, and FTV Capital. Outside of school, she enjoys jazz, sample sales, and Sunday brunch.

Andrew Tong

Andrew is a senior from Houston, Texas studying finance and statistics. He previously interned at Greenhill's restructuring group. In his free time, he enjoys exploring Philadelphia, playing pickle ball, and cheering on the Houston Astros, Rockets, and Texans.

SAMEER JAIN

Sameer is a junior from Naperville, Illinois studying finance and business analytics. Beyond WITG, he is involved in the Wharton Undergraduate Distressed Investing Group and the Students Federal Credit Union. He has previously interned at Monarch Capital Group and Millennium Management. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and poker as well as long-distance running.

THOMAS WRIGHT

Thomas is a junior from Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business studying Finance and Real Estate in Wharton and History and Spanish in the College. He has previously interned at Balyasny Asset Management and Artisan Partners. Outside of WITG, Thomas serves as Co-President of Penn Sports Analytics Group. Thomas is an avid skier and enjoys trying new cuisines.


Financials

Soleil Krcmar

Soleil is a senior from Toronto, Canada studying finance and marketing in Wharton and pursuing a minor in religious studies in the college. She has been in the Financials group since her freshman fall. She spent her sophomore and junior summer as an investment banking intern in the Financial Sponsors group at Credit Suisse, and looks forward to pursuing a career in private equity after college. In her free time, Soleil enjoys thrifting, finding new music, reading, and exploring Philly!

Brenner Levin

Brenner is a senior from Potomac, Maryland pursuing a concentration in Finance from Wharton and a minor in Computer Science from the School of Engineering & Applied Sciences. Last summer, he interned at Guidepost Growth Equity in Boston. Previously, he interned at Cyndx Technologies, a software startup based in New York. In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, poker and chess and is a devout NY Giants fan.

Arthur Andreev

Arthur is a junior from Boston studying PPE and he is currently a PM of the Financials Team. Outside of WITG, Arthur is involved with Penn Undergraduate Capital Partners (PUCP) and a member of Penn's Fencing Team. Previously, he interned at Transaction Insights, a fintech-focused consulting firm, and Blueprint Equity, an early-stage growth equity firm based in San Diego. Next summer, he will be joining Battery Ventures in San Francisco. In his free time, Arthur enjoys backpacking across new countries, spending time with friends, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.


Global Macroeconomic

DANIEL SHI

Daniel is a senior from Austin studying Finance with a minor in Urban Education. He previously interned with Evercore in M&A and PSAM in distressed credit. In his free time, Daniel enjoys photography, running, and reading.

Junbin Huang

Junbin is a senior from Chicago studying accounting and finance. This past summer, he interned at Silver Lake. In his free time, Junbin enjoys cheering on Max Verstappen and George Russell in Formula 1.

MITCHEL WANG

Mitchel is a junior from Scottsdale, Arizona studying Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. Last summer, he interned at a long only fund and next summer he will be joining Lazard's restructuring team in New York. In his free time, Mitchel enjoys playing sports, listening to podcasts, and trying different food trucks.

Jessica Pei

Jess is a Senior from Wilmington, Delaware studying Finance and Legal Studies. Last summer, she interned at Goldman Sachs in New York City. Jess enjoys going to SoulCycle, exploring the Philly food scene, and playing tennis and pickleball.


Healthcare

ADVAIT THAPLOO

Advait is a junior from Sacramento, CA studying biology and finance in LSM. Next summer he will be joining Centerview Partners in San Francisco. Previously he conducted research at Penn Medicine and developed his app, Equimeter. Outside of school he enjoys biographies, walking, and nature.

ALEXANDER YUNG

Alex is a junior from Connecticut studying healthcare management and finance in the Wharton School. He previously interned at Friedom Partners, a healthtech growth PE fund as well as a healthcare-focused family office and healthcare IT startup. Outside of WITG, Alex is a trumpet player in the Penn Band and an active member of Penn RCF. In his free time, Alex enjoys playing bass guitar, shooting photos, and playing ping pong.

Matt Cheng

Matt is a senior from Vancouver, Canada studying biology, finance, and healthcare management. He previously interned at Aegis Ventures, Logos Capital, and Goldman Sachs. In his free time, Matt enjoys playing badminton and poker.


Industrials

THOMAS RAINOW

Thomas is a senior from Los Altos, California, studying mathematics and economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. Previously, he interned at Citadel Securities and Blackrock. Outside of WITG, Thomas enjoys motorcycles, photography, and exploring Philly's food scene.

MITCHELL GRIBMAN

Mitchell is a junior from Bucks County, PA studying Political Science and Economics. He is currently the Co-President of WITG, a PM of the Industrials Team, and a Special Situations Group (SSG) member. Outside of WITG, Mitchell is involved in the Wharton Undergraduate Distressed Investing Group (WUDIG) and plays for Penn’s Club Volleyball Team. Previously, he interned at Baird Capital, a private equity fund, and Matrix Capital, a TMT-focused Hedge Fund outside of Boston. Next summer, he will be joining PJT Partners’ Restructuring and Special Situations Group in NYC. In his free time, Mitchell enjoys exploring cities, playing basketball with friends, and listening to podcasts.


Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) 

Hugo Genevriere

Hugo is a Senior from San Jose, CA in the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology studying Finance and Computer Science. He joined the Quantitative Investment Strategies group as a freshman and previously interned at startups, a VC firm, and middle-market advisory. Next summer, he will be joining KKR’s Leveraged Credit team. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, and walking his dog.

Wyatt Currie

Wyatt is a senior from Maryland studying finance and statistics. This past summer, he worked at Bridgewater Associates on the Macro Equity Flows team. Previously, he worked at the Securities and Exchange Commission and Valley Forge Capital, an equities hedge fund.

MATTHEW DONG

Matthew is a senior from Troy, Michigan in the Management and Technology Program studying computer science and finance. He has previously interned as a trader at Optiver and Five Rings, both market making firms. In his free time, Matthew enjoys running, playing board games, and trying new restaurants.

Keshav Ramji

Keshav is a senior from New York studying Finance and Statistics in Wharton and Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He worked at IBM Research AI on large language models (LLMs) and was a Quantitative Research mentee at J.P. Morgan. Outside of WITG, he is also the President of the Wharton Undergraduate Data Analytics Club and Machine Learning Research at Penn. In his free time, Keshav enjoys playing tennis and various racquet sports, and watching movies.


Real Estate

Alex Gibson

Alex is a Senior from Ebensburg, Pennsylvania studying Real Estate and Entrepreneurship in Wharton. Alex spent his sophomore summer at Prologis working as a development intern in Nashville. This summer, he will be joining Greystar as an investment summer analyst. He also serves on the board of the Wharton Undergraduate Real Estate Club. In his free time, Alex can usually be found throwing a frisbee around high-rise field or playing tennis at Penn Park.

Harjap Singh

Harjap is a Senior from Princeton New Jersey studying finance and real estate at Wharton. He interned at MSD Partners during his sophomore summer in the credit opportunities fund. He will be interning at Blackstone this coming summer in their real estate acquisitions group. Outside of school, he enjoys traveling, watching movies, and playing Spikeball.

Dante Stefanelli

Dante is a Senior at Wharton from New Jersey, studying finance and accounting. He spent his sophomore summer at a private equity company, Energy Capital Partners, and a multi-strategy Hedge Fund, Centiva Capital. He spent his junior summer, as a summer analyst for Houlihan Lokey in their financial restructuring group in their New York office. Dante is also a member of the Penn Wrestling team, the credit investment team at Wharton Undergraduate Distressed Investing Group, and the President of his fraternity, Alpha Tau Omega. Dante enjoys quality time with his friends and family, poker, and golf in his free time.


Special Situations Group (SSG)

XUECHEN YIN

Xuechen, a junior in Wharton, studies Finance and Statistics. This past summer, she worked at Finepoint Capital, a multistrategy hedge fund in Boston. Next summer, she will be joining PJT Partners’ Restructuring and Special Situations Group in New York. Outside of WITG, she is involved in Global Platinum Securities and Wharton Distressed Investing Group.

ANNIE CHEN

Annie is a senior from the Bay Area studying finance and behavioral economics. She previously served as Co-President of WITG. Annie has interned with PJT Partners, Morgan Stanley, and FACT Capital. In her free time, Annie enjoys rock climbing, snowboarding, Spikeball, and social deduction games.

Ken Zhang

Ken is a senior from Singapore studying Finance and Business Analytics. In addition to being a PM, he was previously Executive VP of WITG. He has done internships at Lazard's Technology M&A group and Long Path Partners, a long-only hedge fund. In his free time, he enjoys running, Brazilian Jiujitsu, and playing tennis.

Tony Yang

Tony is a Senior from Dublin, OH, studying finance. Last summer he worked at Qatalyst Partners, a technology M&A bank. Before that, he worked at Glade Brook Capital Partners, a growth tmt fund in Greenwich. Outside of WITG, he is a member of Global Platinum Securities, an intercollegiate investment fund. In his free time, Tony enjoys soccer, reading, and cooking.

RAYAN YU

Rayan is a junior from Washington, D.C. in the M&T program. He will be joining Goldman Sachs’ TMT group next summer; previously, he spent time in software at Amazon. Rayan enjoys backpacking, A24 films, and various outdoor sports in his spare time.

OLIVER DALMI

Oliver is a junior from North Dakota, studying Finance and Statistics, as well as pursuing a Master's in Data Science. Previously, he's worked at Madison Avenue Partners, an opportunistic hedge fund, and Supermoon Capital, a VC fund. In his free time, he enjoys programming, reading, and playing poker.

Josh Lee

Josh is a senior from Boxborough, Massachusetts studying Finance and Statistics at Wharton and Data Science at the School of Engineering. In past summers, he has interned at Bridgewater, a hedge fund, and Ruane, Cunniff & Goldfarb, a mutual fund. In his free time, he enjoys programming, reading, and playing basketball.

SPENCER MATEEGA

Spencer is a junior from Minnesota. He previously interned within Software Engineering at Meta and Technology Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, both in Menlo Park, CA. He enjoys health and fitness.

Suraj Sait

Suraj is a junior from Rhode Island studying Finance, Accounting, and Data Science. Outside of WITG, Suraj is involved with Violet Quaker, PEVC, and Phi Chi Theta. Previously, he interned at Star Mountain Capital, a lower middle-market asset manager, and Maverick Capital, a hedge fund. In his free time, Suraj enjoys watching the New England Patriots, playing ultimate frisbee, and reading books by Brandon Sanderson.

Forrest Liu

Forrest is a senior from Cary, North Carolina studying Finance and Accounting. He spent past summers at Morgan Stanley's global technology group in Menlo Park and Hawk Ridge Capital. In his free time, he enjoys watching college basketball, playing sports, and reading.
